The Lord seeks Laborers for the Fields of harvest
The news reports, weather, social unrest and many other events herald the end of
this earth age is close at hand. What does that mean? To the person who believes
in Jesus Christ as Lord and savior it should mean that we must become involved in
spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is the message of the cross of Christ.
Not the actual wooden beam that was used for Him to be crucified upon but the fact
that humanity is saved only through heart founded faith in the true doctrine of His
life, death and resurrection.
We believe that Jesus was born through a ‘virgin birth’
meaning that both the egg and sperm that were the embryo were formed and fashioned
by the Holy Spirit of God. Mary was blessed because she was the willing handmaiden
of God and her desire to serve and please God resulted in her being the ‘vessel’
to carry Jesus. She is a wonderful example of how each of us should yield to God
and find His plan and purpose for our lives.
We believe that Jesus was both a human being and the only Son of God with no ‘sin nature’ or so called original sin. Jesus of Nazareth was the perfect sin offering required by God to be sacrificed to forgive all of mankind’s sins - past, present and future were all included in His one sacrificial act at Calvary. He fulfilled all prophecy and through Him we are entitled to all the promises that the bible gives believers.
We believe that Jesus died on the cross at calvary and was our ‘sin bearer’ but never sinned Himself. He was the victor over sin and not the subjected one of sin. He conquered death, hell and the grave by His Once and for All sacrifice on the cross. It has never been repeated and never needs to be repeated for the salvation of mankind. He was the Redeemer spoken of by all the prophets throughout the various ages spoken of in the bible.
We believe that Jesus rose from the dead after three days following his execution
on the cross at Calvary. This was made possible by the third part of the Trinity,
the Holy Spirit, which raised Jesus of Nazareth from the dead and made Him the Lamb
of God, Lion of Judah, King of Kings, Lord of Lords and many other titles and attributes
that are given to Him for what he did for us.
We believe that the Body of Christ is
composed of all believers in Jesus of Nazareth the Messiah. It is our faith and
trust in Jesus that saves us and there is no amount of ‘works or deeds’ that can
be done by us to ‘save ourselves’ by those actions. The Body of Christ is composed
of many individuals that each have salvation by faith in Jesus Christ alone and no
church, group or leader can save us - only Jesus of Nazareth the Messiah.
“Believe
in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved - you and your household”. Acts 16:31
“For
whosoever shall call upon the Name of the lord shall be saved”. Romans 10:13
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also
lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with perseverance
the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of our
faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame,
and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:1-2
